We are pleased to announce "Olas Assemble," a trial event grants program where Valory awards grants to support community-run events focused on the Olas ecosystem.
Grantees will receive 2000 USD in $OLAS for successfully hosting a qualifying event and meeting the grant terms.
Guidelines for Organizers
Designate an Organizer
Each event must have a person "in charge". This organizer will coordinate the event and be the main contact for claiming the grant.
Focus on Ecosystem Roles
Events should focus on one or more of these six Olas roles: Contributor 🎖️, Bonder 🪙, Builder 🏗, Governor 🗳, Launcher 🚀, or Operator 🦾. The goal of the event should be to teach attendees about these roles and encourage them to take on one or more roles within the Olas ecosystem.
Co-Locate with a Major Event
Events should be held alongside major AI, Web3, or Ethereum events to attract more attendees. This means scheduling your event at the same time and place as a larger conference or summit. This way, organizers can benefit from the existing audience, infrastructure, and publicity of the larger event. Participants can also engage with a broader community and gain more insights from related sessions and activities.
A Note About Locations
To ensure geographic diversity, only one grant will be given per geographical area. Organizers must specify their event location in their application. Valory will award grants to different regions based on the applications received. If all applications are from one area, Valory might choose both, one, or none of the applications.
