Today, AI is a powerful idea and one that is already generating immense value. However, ownership of the value generated by AI is mostly centered around single entities, giving them full control over the development, deployment, and governance.
Co-owned AI poses the possibility that AI can be collectively owned and controlled by a community that shares responsibility for its development, deployment, and governance. DAOs are particularly well positioned for this.
